“I learned about NBS while studying for my HR qualification alongside a member of the HR team, Cara Holley. Hearing about the Society’s ethos and focus on its people made me want to be a part of it.
"I joined in 2014 as HR Administrator to provide part-time maternity cover, taking a longer-term view of working to become an HR Adviser. I was so pleased that the Society supported my ambition, and I became a full time, permanent HR Adviser in just under a year.
My current role as HR Business Partner - Generalist is a varied one that enables me to work alongside people from all over the Society. Everyone is friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. I feel proud to work for a business that helps people to reach their full potential and puts customers, both internal and external, at the heart of everything we do.”
