When you join us you will receive a comprehensive induction, as well as a personal development plan tailored to your needs.

These will help you to get up to speed with our products and services, culture and values, systems and processes.

Whatever your role in the Society, your personal development plan will help you manage your progress and career path.  There will be opportunities for you to take on more responsibility and participate in projects and initiatives, to further your experience.

  • Our training accreditation by the Financial Services National College (FSNC) gives us independent recognition of the high quality of our learning and development that supports both new and existing employees, while at the same time, helping us to deliver our business objectives.
  • We are the first Building Society to use “Nelly” for which we are proud to have won the “Distinction in Innovative Use of Technology” award at the 2016 HR Distinction Awards. Nelly is an online knowledge booster which helps us gain and retain the knowledge we need to do our jobs. 
  • You can keep up to date with the accomplishments of our employees, our social events and our charitable and community activities in our monthly employee newsletter, "Cascade", through our internal intranet and by following our Society facebook, linkedin and twitter accounts.
