Newbury Building Society puts excellent customer service for our members at the centre of everything we do.

We are committed to developing our people, our processes and our services to ensure our members continue to receive the right products and services that suit their needs.

We strive to motivate and engage employees by communicating in a variety of ways, including our quarterly conference call, in which employees are encouraged to pose questions to our Executive Directors, our Employee Association, a monthly newsletter and an annual survey.


We are local

We have ten branches across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire. Our head office is located in Newbury, which is the base for support teams such as Customer Services, IT, Finance, HR and Marketing.

We are committed to making a difference in the communities our customers and employees live and work in. As well as the financial services, we also take an active role in community organisations and events.

We work hard to create a supportive, friendly environment: in branch, at head office and outside work in our busy social calendar, we have an active Employee Association who organise a number of events for employees throughout the year.
