Newbury Building Society puts excellent customer service for our members at the centre of everything we do. We are committed to developing our people, our processes and our services to ensure our members continue to receive the right products and services that suit their needs.
We strive to motivate and engaged our staff through communicating these objectives in a variety of ways, including our quarterly Society conference call, which staff are encouraged to pose questions to our Executive Directors, a staff association committe, a monthly newsletter and an annual employee survey.
We are local
We have ten branches across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire. Our Head Office is located in Newbury, which is the base for support teams such as Customer Services, Finance, HR and Marketing.

We work hard to create a supportive, friendly environment: in branch, at head office and outside work in our busy social calendar, we have an active Staff Association who organise a number of social and fund-raising events for our staff.
