We are pleased to advise you that we have begun substantial improvements to our Thatcham branch as part of our branch network modernisation plans.
The building work began on 5 February and will continue throughout February and March. We expect that the refurbishment will take approximately 10 weeks with the improved space ready to be enjoyed by members in April. We will confirm the exact dates closer to the time via email, in branch, and on our website.
The refurbishment will provide members with a larger, more modern, and welcoming environment to interact with us and will feature a choice of open, semi-private, and private spaces to receive advice and guidance.
Will the branch be closed during the refurbishment?
We aim to keep the branch open throughout most of the refurbishment, so there will be little disruption if you visit us during this time. However, to keep everyone safe, there will be 2-3 days where the branch will be closed. We will inform you of the closure dates by email, in branch, and on our website.
How else can I transact during the refurbishment?
Our Newbury and Hungerford branches are within a short distance of Thatcham, and you can also withdraw money into a nominated bank account through our myaccounts online service. If you have not yet registered for our myaccounts online service, you can do so here.
