Newbury Building Society has recognised a member of its staff following 25 years of continuous service.
Diana Lewis, Mortgage Underwriter, joined the Society in 1994. Her career started as a part-time Customer Service Adviser in Newbury branch, a position she held for eight years, before moving to a full-time Mortgage Underwriting role in 2014 after she had completed her Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) qualification.
Reflecting on her role at the Society, Diana commented: “The part of my job I like the most is working with our customers to ensure we give a good service, and provide an efficient and quick path to taking out a mortgage. I can’t believe I have been with the Society for 25 years. The best part of working for the Society is the people I work with and the support given.”
Roland Gardner, Chief Executive of Newbury Building Society said: “Diana’s dedication to the Society is significant. Her industry knowledge is exemplary and her loyalty to the Society and its members is to be commended. Diana is a highly regarded member of the Underwriting team and is fondly acknowledged by both her colleagues and the many members she has served over the years. I am delighted to recognise her achievements and look forward to many more years of service.”
Following a presentation at head office, Roland presented Diana with a gift in recognition of her achievement.
