Colleagues from Newbury Building Society’s Basingstoke branch raised £1486.26 by completing this year’s Moonlight Walk, in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.
Lisa Wedge, Basingstoke’s Branch Manager, was joined by Lynne Corallo, Ana Clarke and Becky Reynolds for the annual eight-and-a-half-mile walk around Basingstoke.
Lynne Corallo, Customer Service Adviser said: “I am so pleased I took part in a great event for an amazing charity. I can’t believe I walked around Basingstoke; it was an amazing achievement! We are incredibly grateful for all the sponsorships and support. Thank you all so much.”
This year’s event was attended by more than 400 people who were encouraged to wear their pyjamas.
All the donations made will go towards the hospice’s continued work in helping patients have the best possible quality of life through specialised support within Basingstoke and North Hampshire.
