Mortgage Helpdesk Adviser

Location: Head Office (hybrid working available once training is complete)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Salary: £25,497 - £29,996

Due to continued business demand, we are growing our mortgage sales department.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly and fast-paced team, working on our mortgage broker helpdesk and contributing towards achieving sales targets.

You will be fully supported and provided with a clear training plan to enable you to develop the skills and experience required to:

  • Take ownership for managing a variety of enquiries via phone, email and live chat.

  • Support third party systems to ensure our products are accurately reflected and to assist brokers with our online broker service.

  • Convert new broker enquiries into applications.

Essential criteria for the role:

  • Proven experience of working with internal and/or external, customers to ensure the highest quality service experience.

  • Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365.

  • GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or equivalent.

Desirable criteria for the role:

  • CeMAP qualification.

  • Competent and legal driver.

  • Some experience of working within a sales environment.

  • General understanding of the financial services industry.

  • Some knowledge and experience of mortgage underwriting.
