IT Security & Infrastructure Manager 

Location: Head office, Newbury

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm (35 hours per week)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Interviews: TBC

Reporting to the IT Manager and working closely with the IT Operations Manager, you will lead a dedicated 2nd line technology team, to design, implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the business and its customers.

You will need a strong working knowledge and experience of cyber security, along with previous leadership or management experience. An example of some of your responsibilities includes:

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and other critical technology components.  

  • Provide support for 1st line escalation and cross-collaboration with IT Operations Manager, to ensure operational resilience and day to day support.

Essential skills and experiences for this role: 

  • Experience of leading and developing a technical team within IT security 

  • Proven experience in IT cyber security and infrastructure management with an in depth knowledge of cyber security principles, frameworks and best practice 

  • Experience of managing hosted and on-premise services and infrastructure

  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 to an advanced level
