CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION MANAGER
Location: Head Office, Newbury (hybrid working available, minimum of 2 days per week office based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
The Newbury Building Society is looking for a Change leader who can really impact the future direction and capabilities of the business. The Change and Transformation Manager leads the small Business Change team in the delivery of initiatives to facilitate the Society’s strategic objectives and Corporate Plan, particularly digital.
The primary goal is to excel in the provision of programme management and innovation and support in the delivery of technological products and services, delivering high-quality change at pace. The guiding principle is to underpin the Society’s Purpose and Values by ensuring all activities are member-centric, people-oriented, safe, service-driven, and value-focused.
You might be changing career roles from a senior operational leadership position to a more change & transformation focussed position or might be a senior Project / Programme leader or Business Analyst looking for the next step, the Society will invest in your development. Leading a small team consisting of Programme Manager and Project Manager (this may expand in future under your leadership) we are looking for candidates with the following skills / experiences:
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE:
- Proven track record of leading on the delivery of strategic change and improvement programmes to achieve principle objectives, in accordance with Industry best practice (MSP / Prince 2 methodologies)
- Ability to drive and lead the delivery of strategic change/project across a senior stakeholder group
- Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships between all stakeholders
- It would be advantageous if you have worked previously within financial services or a similar highly regulated business
