Background and experience
I joined Newbury Building Society in 2021, as a member of Customer Support in the Mortgages department. An opportunity then arose for a secondment in the HR department which progressed to me working permanently in the HR team as an HR Assistant in 2022. Working across the business has given me a unique understanding of what we do and how our people need to be supported. I have also just completed my CIPD Level 3 in People Practice with the support and guidance of my team.
Role and responsibilities
In my role I assist the HR team in their day-to-day tasks ranging from recruitment all the way to payroll queries. I aim to maintain good working relationships with all our stakeholders and employees by providing excellent customer service.
