Background and experience
I started with Newbury Building Society in 2015, initially within underwriting as an assistant before joining the Intermediary Team when it was created in 2016. From there I progressed from a Sales Adviser to a Business Development Manager and was then promoted to Intermediary Service Manager in September 2025.
I enjoy the flexibility Newbury Building Society can offer as a lender. It allows us to discuss all different types of enquiries in the hope of being able to give someone a mortgage. We pride ourselves on our customer service and this shows in the care that goes into the process of a mortgage from start to finish.
Roles and responsibilities
My role is to lead, nurture and retain the Intermediary Helpdesk team to deliver mortgage growth, as well as manage and monitor mortgage business, whilst contributing to our sales strategy and assisting the Society in achieving all business targets.
