Winchester welcome Trinity as new charity partner

As a mutual organisation, it is incredibly important that we give back to the communities in which our members and people live and work, and part of this commitment is demonstrated by our charity partnership scheme. Our branch charity partners are voted for by our employees and members. We aim to build long-term relationships with the chosen charities to enable our people, and hopefully our members, to engage in meaningful volunteering and fundraising opportunities.

"We are delighted to be supporting Trinity Winchester as our charity partner. Trinity provide much needed practical and emotional support to people experiencing the effects of homelessness or vulnerability in the Winchester area. The funds that we raise through our members will help continue to make a real difference in the life of vulnerable people who rely on the services that Trinity provide."

Cliff Osborne, Winchester Branch Manager

After a great relationship with Friends of PICU since 2017, the Winchester branch of Newbury Building Society are delighted to announce Trinity Winchester as their new charity partner.

Trinity are a Winchester based charity who offer emotional and practical support to vulnerable local people to address the effects of homelessness. They provide vital support to over 600 people annually, and their dedicated Women's Service supports around 150 women to make positive change in their lives and break away from domestic abuse each year.

We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen by Newbury Building Society as one of their chosen charities. It is fantastic to have long term support from a local business to help deliver on our mission which is to be the ‘go-to’ safe place for homeless and vulnerable people in Winchester.
