The second round of our 2026 Community Support Scheme is a bumper one! We're pleased to have been able to support fifteen diverse and wonderful organisations in this round.

Me and My Dad Club

Based in Andover, Me and My Dad Club are a community group providing space for dads to spend quality time with their children. Our donation of £500 will help the group broden the experiences they currently offer, from inviting community guests to run activities, to providing free refreshments. 

Kimel Community Cafe

Kimel Community Cafe has been awarded £1,000 to help them through a particularly challenging time, following a sinkhole on the street that has impacted footfall. As an employment project supporting a neurodivergent team, they chose to keep all staff in place despite heavy financial losses, prioritising wellbeing and stability. This funding will help them continue that commitment while rebuilding their position.

The Garden Festival

Our donation of £500 to The Garden Festival, hosted in Winchester, will go towards purchasing new event merchandise to help promote awareness and reach new visitors. 

The Cornermen CIO

The Cornermen CIO (registered charity no: 1212851), based in Didcot, provide free fitness sessions aiming to provide access to men struggling with their mental wellbeing. Our £500 donation will fund 10 weeks of their boxing-based group sessions which create space for connection, support and most importantly, a bit of fun, all whilst helping to improve wellbeing. 

Gobo Theatre Foundation

By combining professional expertise with volunteer support, the Gabo Theatre Foundation (registered charity no: 01140695), the organisation creates inclusive opportunities for young theatre-enthusiasts to get involved. The donation of £500 will help keep its productions accessible and affordable for all. 

Steventon History Society

Steventon History Society, based in Didcot, is using a £356 grant to bring together a nostalgic look at life in 1966. Featuring personal memories, audio recordings and objects from the time, the exhibition will offer visitors a chance to reflect on both local and national stories from the era.

Ark Cancer Charity

A £250 grant will help Ark Cancer Charity (registered charity no: 1149758), based in Basingstoke, continue offering complementary therapies to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Services such as massage, reflexology, aromatherapy and acupuncture provide much-needed relief from the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, helping improve comfort and wellbeing at a difficult time.

Hampshire Cultural Trust

At The Willis Museum in Basingstoke, our £400 grant is supporting a community-led exhibition, organised by Hampshire Cultural Trust (registered charity no: 1158583) 'I Grew Up in the 90s'. Local memories and archive photographs will be brought together to tell the story of the decade in Basingstoke, with funding helping to create a high-quality display that visitors can engage with.

The Fellowship of St Ethelwold

Our £500 donation will support improvements to a well-used riverside garden situated at St Ethelwold's House (registered charity no: 1179427), including rebuilding the river wall and enhancing seating and access. The project will help ensure the space can continue to be enjoyed by visitors for years to come.

Winchester Pregnancy Crisis Centre

Our donation of £500 will support the continuation of free counselling services at Winchester Pregnancy Crisis Centre (registered charity no: 1179212). The charity provides a safe and supportive space for individuals dealing with unplanned pregnancy, miscarriage or abortion, ensuring people don’t have to face these challenges alone.

The Boaz Project

The Boaz Project (registered charity no: 1121699), based in Winchester, has received £500 to support its “Hands Together” initiative, helping adults with learning disabilities into work placements. The project focuses on building confidence, with funding going towards helping participants travel to placements.

New Projects Association

Situated in Basingstoke, New Projects Association (registered charity no: 1210893) are a charity providing free performing arts activities to enhance creative and cultural experiences for children and young people. With our donation of £500, young people in Basingstoke will have the opportunity to take part in a "Show in a Day" theatre project, creating and performing their own piece, guided by a professional theatre lead, to perform to their friends and family. 

Winchester Poetry Festival

The Winchester Poetry Festival (registered charity no: 1150997) will use a £400 contribution to support its 2026 Poetry Day at The Arc. With a focus on inclusion, the funding will help make the event more accessible, encouraging wider participation from people who may not typically engage with poetry.

Basingstoke and Alton Cardic Rehabilitation Charity

With our donation of £500 to Basingstoke and Alton Cardiac Rehabilitation Charity, five cardiac patients will be able to take part in a structured rehabilitation programme designed to support recovery and improve heart health. Through guided exercise and assessments, the programme helps individuals rebuild confidence and take positive steps towards long-term wellbeing.

Alton Lions

Alton Lions will use their £500 award to support their annual Car Show on Saturday 22 August. The free event is a well-loved fixture in the town, bringing people together while raising funds for St Michael’s Hospice Care at Home. The funding will help ensure the event runs smoothly and remains accessible to all.
