After proudly supporting Helen & Douglas House for a number of years, our Didcot branch are now looking to partner with a new local charity. We'd love our members of the local community to decide who that will be.

Supporting the communities we serve is a key part of who we are as a mutual, and our Charity Partnership Scheme enables our branches to make a meaningful difference to local causes.

Through fundraising activities, community events and the generosity of our members, we've been able to raise £35,000 for Helen and Douglas House (registered charity: 1085951). Our branch team have also contributed by volunteering their time, championing charitable initiatives and raising important awareness.

Your vote matters

Our Didcot branch team have shortlisted three local charities to become our charity partner. The charities are:

Be Free Young Carers (registered charity: 1042708) support young people aged 8 - 17 who care for loved ones, helping them rediscover their childhood, build confidence and thrive.

Based at Didcot Baptist Church, Didcot Emergency Foodbank supports local people facing difficult circumstances by providing access to essential food and household supplies. Through its services, the foodbank offers practical help and reassurance to individuals and families when they need it most.

Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue (registered charity: 1194050) is an independent charity dedicated to rescuing, caring for and rehabilitating sick, injured and orphaned wild animals and birds. Through its work, the charity provides vital treatment and support, with the aim of returning wildlife to its natural habitat whenever possible.
