Registering for myaccounts

Our myaccounts online service enables you to view and manage your savings accounts, open online savings accounts and view your Newbury Building Society mortgage accounts(s). 

Registering for the myaccounts service also gives you access to our myaccounts app. 

How to register for myaccounts

    • Click here to register and follow the on-screen instructions.
    • We'll email you your username and we'll also email you an activation code, this is important because you'll need it to activate your myaccounts account. Follow the instructions to activate your account. You'll be able to see your profile, but you won't be able to use it just yet. 
    • We'll post a verification code to your registered address within 5 business days. 
    • When you receive this code you can enter it in the Profile Details page of myaccounts online.

  5. Now you'll be able to add your nominated account and make withdrawals or deposits.

To register:

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must be a registered holder of an account.
  • If you are a nominee you are able to register and view accounts, however you will not be able to complete transactions.
  • You are not able to register as a trustee or administrator.
  • For joint accounts, the account must be set up to operate on the authority of a single signatory.
  • Guarantors and Limited Company Buy to Let customers are not currently able to use the app.
