This year, we're going all out! Each of our ten branches will have a Giving Tree or an opportunity to support the local community this Christmas.
What is a Giving Tree?
A Giving Tree is a simple yet meaningful way to spread kindness during the festive season. Each tree is linked to a local charity. Customers can donate gifts, such as toys, warm clothing, or everyday essentials, by bringing them unwrapped to the branch and placing them under the tree. Every gift helps make someone’s Christmas special.
Bring a present, unwrapped, to:
- Andover: Monday 17 November to Wednesday 17 December for Andover Young Carers.
- Abingdon and Didcot: Monday 17 November to Monday 15 December for Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire.
- Alton: Monday 17 November to Monday 15 December for Home-Start Hampshire.
- Basingstoke: Wednesday 5 November to Wednesday 17 December for the Community Furniture Project Basingstoke.
- Newbury, Thatcham and Hungerford: Monday 10 November to Wednesday 17 December for West Berkshire Toy Appeal.
Select a tag from the giving tree from:
- Wokingham: Tuesday 11 November to Friday 12 December and for a range of local charities in and around Wokingham.
Donate an essential item for a homeless or vulnerable person:
- Winchester: Monday 17 December until Monday 15 December for Trinity Winchester, via their in-branch donation box.
Have a Christmas treat on us
On Wednesday 17 December, our branches will be stocked with free mince pies or chocolates for customers. We'd love to see you, so feel free to pop in and have a delicious festive treat on us.
Please note: our Alton branch will not be offering mince pies.
