Are you organised and efficient with great communication skills? Do you enjoy varied tasks and adding value. Then this could be the role for you.

You will be the first point of contact on our reception desk for our internal and external customers. You will be providing excellent customer service while answering calls, managing a switchboard, taking messages, and looking after an enquiries mailbox.

Occasionally you may be asked to provide support to our Scanning department by efficiently and accurately scanning and indexing customer and Society documents.

As part of the larger Customer Support team, you will work closely with colleagues to learn all aspects of the role within your comprehensive training program.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Some experience of working with internal and/or external, customers to ensure the highest quality service experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills environment.
  • Competent in the basic use of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365.
  • Proven administration skills.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience of working within Financial Services administration.

  • We want to help you develop – we are accredited by the Financial Services National College for the quality of our learning and development practices. No matter your role, there will be opportunities to take on new responsibilities and be involved in projects to further your career.

  • We want to look after and reward you - you will receive a generous holiday allowance, contributory stakeholder pension scheme, access to wellbeing programmes, and your birthday off.

  • We care about our communities – as well as providing financial services, we get involved in supporting local charities and people. This means regular opportunities to volunteer, fundraise, and help with community events and activities. All employees also receive two paid days of volunteering every year to help causes they feel passionately about.
