Berkshire in Mind
Berkshire in Mind provide free mental health support to people living in the Berkshire area. Our donation of £500 will go towards the cost of a venue to deliver their wellbeing workshops. The welcoming space will help participants build their confidence, reduce feelings of isolation, and develop meaningful connections.
Daisy's Dream
We have awarded £500 to Daisy's Dream (registered charity number: 1177145) to support a visit for bereaved children and their families to Path Hill Education Centre. The experience will provide specialist support in a relaxed environment, while also giving families the opportunity to connect with others who are navigating similar experiences of loss and bereavement.
Basingstoke and District Young Carers
Our donation of £500 will support Basingstoke and District Young Carers (registered charity number: 1182014) take 30 young carers to a festival, giving them the chance to step away from their caring responsibilities for the day. The trip will provide an opportunity to enjoy new experiences and spend time with friends, helping to boost wellbeing and create positive memories.
Move Momentum
Based in Winchester, Move Momentum (registered charity number: 1189061) provide inclusive dance classes for older adults with disabilities and online dance sessions for SEN schools, care homes, and community groups across Hampshire.
Our donation of £500 will contribute to the costs of the of Move Momentum's Liberate Dance Holiday Camp, providing wheelchair users with opportunities to take part in accessible dance activities.
Newbury Environment and Wildlife Team (NEWT)
NEWT (registered charity number: 1189097) has received a £500 donation to support a range of projects designed to benefit local wildlife and engage local people with nature. The funding will help purchase tools, educational materials, and signage, as well as create new wildlife habitats to encourage greater biodiversity in the area.
Opensight
We have awarded Opensight (registered charity number: 1055498), based in Basingstoke, £500 to help them continue to support its visually impaired members. The donation will contribute to a social trips and activities, including a Christmas meal, creating opportunities for members to connect with others, build friendships, and enjoy shared experiences.
The Teen Project
We donated £500 to The Teen Project (registered charity number: 1213728) to give teenage girls attending its wellbeing courses access to free sanitary products. By removing a potential barrier to participation, young people will be able to attend sessions with greater confidence and comfort, enabling them to focus fully on their wellbeing and personal development.
