We are otter-ly thrilled to announce a wild new charity partnership for our Didcot branch and the wonderful Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue (charity no. 1194050).
Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue were chosen by Didcot customers in a vote between three local charities, which took place online and in branch last month. Didcot branch were previously partnered with Helen & Douglas House (registered charity: 1085951) helping to raise over £35,000 alongside Abingdon branch* over the past several years.
Abingdon branch will continue its partnership with Helen & Douglas House. If you currently support the charity through our charity account, we’ll contact you in October with more information. If you'd like to keep supporting Helen & Douglas House, simply let us know when you hear from us.
What is the charity partnership scheme and how does it work?
Each of our ten branches - as well as our head office - are partnered with a local charity chosen by members and employees. Our partners are varied and unique, supporting homeless and vulnerably housed people, young people with disabilities, older people, and those with life-limiting conditions. The aim of the scheme is to raise awareness and funds on a long-term basis through fundraising activities in our branches and the local area.
