What does our OneBanx kiosk offer?

But what about Thatcham’s new banking hub?

Cash Access UK recently announced a new banking hub in Thatcham, expected to open in June 2026. This is a separate service to the OneBanx kiosk inside Thatcham branch.

When the hub opens, customers will be able to use counter services, pay in and withdraw cash, and access staffed services from a rotation of banks.  This is good news for a community which has been without a bank since 2022, and we believe it will complement the services already offered by our branch team and OneBanx kiosk brilliantly.

Here’s are some reasons you might choose to use the OneBanx kiosk alongside the new banking hub:

  • Immediate access to cash - there's no need to book ahead - just pop in whenever you need to!

  • Support from our branch team - OneBanx runs alongside our usual branch activities, with our friendly team on-hand for guidance or questions should you need them.

  • Swift, self-service convenience - OneBanx is ideal for those who want to make everyday deposits or withdrawals, but don’t want to wait for a counter space or appointment. The app-guided process is streamlined for speed and simplicity – leaving you free to get on with the rest of your day!

  2. 2. Register and link your bank account. 

  3. 3. Visit Thatcham branch and use the kiosk!
