I joined Newbury Building Society in July 2015 as a Branch Assistant and then became a Mobile Branch Assistant in August 2016. In May 2017, I was promoted to Andover Branch Manager since becomming Senior Branch Manager of both the Andover and Winchester branches in March 2020. Previously I gathered thirty years experience in the paper manufacturing and distribution industry.
I enjoy the high level of personalised service that the Society provides its members and customers, also our wider involvement in the local community and support for charities. The Society has provided me with excellent training and development, which has meant that I have learnt new skills and achieve great career progression in a relatively short space of time in a new industry.
I am responsible for the management of both the Andover and Winchester branches, I support my teams to provide our members and our local communities with excellent customer service. I also ensure the Society procedures are followed compliantly, the processes are efficient and that our business objectives are met.
