Background and experience
I am an experienced financial services professional with over 20 years of industry experience, including 15 years at Newbury Building Society. My career has spanned a broad range of roles, from working in the investment and pension markets to serving as a mortgage intermediary. In the last nine years, I’ve taken on leadership responsibilities, managing a team of Mortgage Advisers to ensure the delivery of compliant, customer-focused advice.
Working for the Society gives me the opportunity to be involved in making business decisions that enables the Society to achieve its corporate objectives and deliver benefits to its members. The Society also provides me with the opportunity of long term career progression and also supplies me with additional learning and development opportunities.
Role and responsibilities
As Head of Product Management, I lead a team responsible for the strategic delivery and continuous improvement of our Societies' product portfolio, encompassing both mortgage and savings products.
In addition, I oversee the Society’s savings product portfolio and direct sales performance with a strong focus on mortgage product retention. I’m passionate about aligning financial products with customer needs, maintaining regulatory excellence, and driving performance through strategic insight and team development.
