Background and experience

I joined Newbury Building Society in 2023 after gaining 15 years of customer service experience in the retail industry, becoming a qualified Customer Service Adviser within six months. I was also awarded a distinction in Customer Service.

I enjoy getting involved in fundraising and local community events, helping to raise money for our branch charity, Helen & Douglas House.

Role and responsibilities

In 2025, I become Branch Manager in the Abingdon branch on a 12-month secondment. I now provide coaching and management to the team, ensuring they feel supported and able to deliver the highest level of customer service.
