I have been with Newbury Building Society since 2016. I started as a Branch Assistant in our Didcot branch before relocating to Abingdon. I moved to my role as an Intermediary Sales Adviser in August 2019, before starting my role as Business Development Manager in April 2022.
Working for Newbury Building Society is great as every day is different due to the type of enquires changing on a daily basis. Finding solutions to enquires and liaising with brokers makes my role very enjoyable and satisfying.
It’s my role to generate new business from intermediaries and retain and develop strong relationships with brokerages. I also still help out on the Intermediary Helpdesk from time to time.
