Background and experience

I joined Newbury Building Society in May 2022 after 14 years in product and marketing roles at Nationwide Building Society. I’ve had the opportunity to work across unsecured and secured product ranges, with more recent experience of leading member engagement and communications teams. 

Role and responsibilities

I lead the sales and marketing teams who do a fantastic job across such a broad range of activities. On the sales side we’re responsible for intermediaries and broker introduced mortgages, product and pricing recommendations and direct mortgages and savings volumes through the branch network. On the Marketing side we could be running an event, managing the website, communicating with our members and employees or driving forward some of our social investment and community initiatives.
