Background and experience
I joined Newbury Building Society in July 2015 as a Branch Assistant and then became a mobile Branch Assistant in August 2016. In May 2017, I was promoted to Office Manager of the Andover branch. Previously I gathered thirty years experience in the paper manufacturing and distribution industry.
I enjoy the high level of personalised service that the Society provides its members and customers, also our wider involvement in the local community and support for charities. The Society has provided me with excellent training and development, which has meant that I have managed to learn new skills and make very good career progression in a relatively short space of time in a new industry.
Role and responsibilities
I am responsible for the office management of the Andover branch, I support my team to provide our members and our local community with excellent customer service. I also ensure the Society procedures are followed compliantly, the processes are efficient and that our business objectives are met.
