As this is Easter weekend, there are some deadlines you should be aware of in relation to ISAs and EMAs at Newbury Building Society.
ISA and EMA (Existing Member Account) application deadlines
Applications sent via post or made in branch

Must be received at a branch by Thursday 2 April.

Identity requirements must be met and deposit monies received by this date to ensure completion in the 2025/26 tax year.
Online applications (via myaccounts)

Must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday 31 March.

This should allow sufficient time for identity verification and monies to be deposited by 5pm on Thursday 2 April.
ISA and EMA deposit deadlines to guarantee funds are applied in the 2025/26 tax year

Faster Payments from other organisations - must be received by 5pm on Thursday 2 April.

Transfers from another Newbury account (via myaccounts) - must be received by 3pm on Saturday 4 April.

Debit card payments (via myaccounts) - must be completed by 3pm on Saturday 4 April.

Payments/Transfers made in branch on Saturday 4 April (9am – 12pm) – will be treated as received on 4 April.
Please note: if these deadlines are not met, we cannot guarantee funds will be credited in the 2025/2026 tax year, due to the bank holiday period.
