We were proud to re-open our refurbished Basingstoke branch on Friday 5 June.

CEO, Phillippa Cardno, was joined by the Basingstoke branch team, as well as members of the project team and design firm, Morgan Lovell, to cut the ribbon and officially declare the branch open. Members were invited to explore and celebrate the updated space with cake and fizz, and goodie bags were also given out to lucky passersby throughout the opening week!

Basingstoke branch, which first opened in Festival Place in 2010, has been completely refitted and modernised. The banking hall now has extra seating, increased counter space, and upgraded private rooms for customer appointments.

Basingstoke marks the Society's sixth branch refurbishment project, following the changes to Abingdon, Newbury, Thatcham, Winchester, and Didcot branches. Our continued updates reaffirm the Society's belief in the importance of in-person financial support on the high street and in towns, ensuring people have access to cash and trusted advice where they live and work.

We are extremely pleased to officially open our refurbished Basingstoke branch. Whilst the branch has been modernised, our commitment to providing excellent customer service remains unchanged. We know how vital face-to-face service is to our members, and our ‘bricks and clicks’ strategy demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with access to face-to-face services as well as the choice to interact with us digitally via our mobile app and our online myaccounts service.
Phillippa Cardno Chief Executive
