Background and experience
Gorse joined the Society in 2018 as Head of HR and People Development. She is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD. Gorse has previously worked for a number of financial service organisations including Barclays, Triodos, Lloyds and Nationwide.
I am delighted to have joined the Executive team. My appointment demonstrates the commitment Newbury Building Society has for its people.
Role and responsibilities
Gorse is responsible for leading, developing and implementing the Society’s HR strategy. Reporting into the Chief Executive she is responsible for ensuring that the HR and People Development portfolio is aligned to the Society’s overall objectives.
