Background and experience
I joined the Society in January 2017 as a Customer Service Adviser in the Andover branch. I have since worked in all of the Basingstoke area branches and as a Customer Support Assistant in our Head Office. I was promoted to the Alton Branch Manager in August 2018. Prior to working for the Society I have worked in a number of different financial institutions including insurance, banking and other building societies.
I enjoy working for Newbury Building Society because we put our members and staff at the heart of everything we do. This enables us to give great customer service and for the Society to be a fantastic place to work. I also get to be involved in charity and community work which is really rewarding.
Roles and responsibilities
I am responsible for managing the Alton branch, ensuring we offer great customer service to our members and the local community. I also ensure all regulatory requirements are met as well as developing the team to achieve their potential.
