Water Saving Week 2023 - how to save water at home

Water Saving Week, hosted by Waterwise, a not-for-profit UK NGO focussed on reducing water consumption in the UK, considers the vital link between climate change and water efficiency.

The week-long campaign aims to spread awareness about the need to reduce water waste in terms of managing climate change, keeping our environment healthy, and helping local communities thrive.

According to Waterwise, 17% of the average household energy bill is generated by heating water for showers, baths, and general washing.

Water is our most precious natural resource, with the average Brit using 145 litres per day, a shocking 70% more than in 1985!

Are you ready to take on a water saving challenge?

Take a look at the infographic below which illustrates some simple tips that you could employ at home to become more water-conscious and in return, save both the planet and some pennies.
