Newbury Building Society has been shortlisted for the second year running as a finalist in the Regional Lending Provider of the Year category at the Moneyfacts Awards.
Moneyfacts, the UK’s leading provider of personal finance data, host the awards annually. The awards recognise product excellence and outstanding service in the UK financial services sector, and take place at the Tower of London on Tuesday 6 June 2017. The evening is one of the highlights of the personal finance industry calendar.
Along with the other finalists in the category, the Society was selected by independent judges from weekly in-depth analysis of all relevant mortgage products provided to the sector, based on the data displayed in the Moneyfacts magazine and through their online systems. Product monitoring is carried out throughout the preceding year and the intermediary community is also consulted for their feedback.
The Society hopes to go one better this year after missing out on the top accolade. Roger Knight, Lending Manager at Newbury Building Society, said: “Once again we are extremely proud to be recognised for our commitment to helping local home buyers. To be acknowledged by a well-respected financial information company again is a great endorsement of the products we provide and the service we offer our customers, year after year.”
