Newbury employee to support Prior's Court with charity photoshoot

A Newbury Building Society employee is going to be supporting local charity, Prior's Court, by offering free professional headshots and group photography in Hungerford on 5th and 6th March.

Michael Harden, who runs Michael Harden Photography outside of his day job at the Society, will be offering 5–10-minute photoshoots in aid of local charity Prior's Court. He will be offering professional headshots, group pictures, or even pictures of pets.

The sessions are completely free, although there will be a pot for donations to Prior's Court as well as QR code so people can donate directly to the charity. The photos (a maximum of 3) will be emailed to participants once they have been edited.

The event will take place on 5th and 6th March between 10am and 3pm at the Hungerford Printing Company, just off of Hungerford High Street. There is no need to book a slot in advance.

"I know a few families who have children on the spectrum of varying severities. They can often need full time care and have severe learning disabilities. The work Prior’s court do is amazing and they give young people the opportunity to live with autism and become more independent. Autism can make every-day tasks stressful including the most basic of social interactions."

Michael Harden, Product Marketing Assistant

Prior’s Court is a Berkshire-based charity which provides education and residential care for young people with complex autism, aged 5-25. All young people at Prior's Court are on the autism spectrum, have moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs. They are currently the chosen charity partner of Newbury Building Society's Hungerford branch. You can find out more about them on their website.
