Alison Stone, Community Fundraising Manager at Helen & Douglas House said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to Newbury Building Society for their donation to Helen & Douglas House. We simply couldn’t provide the amazing care for local terminally ill children and their families without the continued support of local organisations like Newbury Building Society. We need to raise £3.6m a year to provide physical, emotional and practical support to local families and walk alongside them on their difficult and exhausting journey. This would not be possible without the wonderful staff at the Newbury Building Society raising money for us.”
Tanya Penny, Office Manager and Finance Officer at The Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust said: "Thank you for bringing peace, comfort and dignity to every patient we see. Thanks to you, help can be given when it is needed most."
Emma Simms, Marketing and Communications Manager at Newbury Building Society said: “It goes without saying raising these magnificent totals would not be possible without the ongoing support of all our members and our employees. Thank you to all those who have donated; your contribution will go a long way in helping our nine partner charities continue their excellent work in and around our communities.”
