Newbury Building Society has donated £1,250 to SeeAbility to purchase much-needed specialist physio equipment.
Youth football team, Reeves Rangers under-13s, look sharp in a new kit following sponsorship from Newbury Building Society.
Established in the heart of Wokingham for over 40 years, the team applied for £500 through the Society’s Community Support Scheme to purchase new football kits to be used for away matches and training sessions for its players.
Owen Moody, Manager of the under-13s team said: “Reeves Rangers under-13s are pleased to be linked with Newbury Building Society. Both the Society and the football club has served the local community for many years; many parallels can be drawn between an established mutual and one of the oldest clubs in Wokingham.”
Justine Ransom, Mortgage Adviser based at Newbury Building Society’s Wokingham branch, visited the club and said: “It was a joy to watch the players out on the field, proudly wearing the Society’s logo on their new kit. Their undeniable team spirit and unity shone through, and I’m delighted we were able to help. I wish them the best of luck for the rest of their season.”
