Insight into how we help the community and why mutuality is in our DNA.
The Government has been clear that the single most important action we can all take in fighting Coronavirus is to stay at home in order to protect the NHS and save lives. We therefore urge our members only to visit our branches where absolutely necessary.
Because of the impact of coronavirus, some of our branch opening times have temporarily changed. Please see below or check opening times in our branch finder before visiting.
Branch opening times
Until further notice, all branches will be operating on reduced opening hours of:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 9am until 1pm
Wednesdays 9.30am until 1pm
Saturdays - Closed
Sundays - Closed
We will be closed Bank Holidays.
Individual branch details can be found here.
Visiting a branch
You can pay cash or cheques in at your local branch, but we ask you only do this if your transaction is essential.
Essential and non-essential transactions: We are happy to help in branch with the following:
• Cash/cheque withdrawals
• Cheque deposits
• Electronic transfers
• Registering a death
We ask you not to visit a branch for the following:
• Regular low value withdrawals and deposits for notes, coins and cheques
• Passbook updates with no transactions
• Debit card deposits
If you would like to know whether an automated credit has been received, please phone your local branch rather than visiting.
Safeguarding rules in branches
To comply with social distancing regulations, we have reduced the number of tills open and are limiting the number of members in the branch at one time. We kindly request only one person from your party enters the branch and transacts with us on each occasion.
