Newbury Building Society has announced it will be moving its head office location towards the end of this year.
Newbury Building Society has awarded Alton-based school, Treloar, £500 to support its 2020 St Swithun’s Walk and Run fundraising event.
The school, which provides education for children living with disabilities, encourages participants to either walk or run a 5 mile or 10-mile course which starts at the Treloar’s campus and finishes either at Bentley or Farnham. The event is attended by approximately 250 - 365 people made up of parents, students, staff and the local community.
The vital funds will support young people with the most complex physical disabilities and help them to experience a fulfilling and rewarding life; whether through the enjoyment of learning, music, sport, art, or sensory activities.
The sponsorship, taken from the Society's Community Support Scheme, will be used to help promote the event. This includes the design and production of all the event literature; ranging from the publicity posters and banners to the participants fundraising pack.

Without it we wouldn’t be able to help fund things like assistive technology, minibuses, specialist feeding equipment, in-house physiotherapy sessions and field trips designed to push our student’s boundaries. These are some of the things that make Treloar’s a special place and give our young people an amazing and fulfilling time here, and a chance of a more independent future.”
