Newbury Building Society ‘Highly Commended’ at National Housing Awards 2018

Newbury Building Society was delighted to be recognised as ‘Highly Commended’ for ‘Best Financial Partner’ at last week’s National Housing Awards 2018.

Phillippa Cardno, Operations and Sales Director at Newbury Building Society attended the awards and said: “As a Society we are passionate about supporting accessible and affordable homeownership for all. We are thrilled to be ‘Highly Commended’ for ‘Best Financial Partner’ as we take great pride in helping people take the all-important first step onto the property ladder in a difficult housing market. We will continue to help working households meet their homeownership aspirations with a choice of affordable mortgage options.”

Congratulations to Wandle whose Hillingdon Street development is one such scheme paving the way for affordable homeownership in London.”
