The new variable mortgage follows the increase of upper age lending limit to 90 years.
From Thursday 13 September 2018, we will be increasing the interest rates on many of our savings accounts!
Following the increase in the Bank of England Base Rate (BBR) announced on 2 August, we reviewed our savings rates and will be increasing the rates on the majority of our accounts, and in several cases by the full 0.25%.
With this change we have also increased the minimum interest rate on all tiers of all accounts to 0.40% Gross/AER variable and our highest paying open account continues to be the Existing Members Account, which will now pay 1.75% Gross/AER variable for balances over £1.
The new interest rates will be effective from Thursday 13 September 2018 and you can download the list of open and closed issue savings accounts with their new interest rates below.
Our savings members will shortly receive a letter and a copy of the updated interest savings rates table in the post.
If you would like to arrange a review of your savings accounts with one of our qualified savings advisers, please contact your local branch, telephone 01635 555777, or request an appointment online.
