Newbury Building Society finalist at this year’s Moneyfacts Awards

Newbury Building Society has been confirmed as a finalist in this year’s Moneyfacts Awards for ‘Regional Lending Provider of the Year’.

The finalists were chosen after Moneyfacts undertook rigorous product analysis and intermediary feedback to highlight the best products and service in personal finance. The awards will be set to showcase providers who have excelled in their sectors.

The Society will face competition from Cambridge Building Society, Cumberland Building Society, Ipswich Building Society, Monmouthshire Building Society and Vernon Building Society who are also up for the accolade.

Emma Simms, Marketing and Communications Manager at Newbury Building Society said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this year’s Moneyfacts Awards and to be recognised by a well-respected financial organisation for our products and service. This is something we are extremely proud of as the value of our products and the service we offer our members is at the centre of everything we do.”

Moneyfacts is the UK’s leading independent provider of finance product data and for almost 30 years, has been a key driver behind personal finance product decisions.

Lee Tillcock, Editor of Moneyfacts said: “While the last year has proven somewhat unpredictable on a political level, it has created opportunities for all those involved in the personal finance market. The finalists, and eventual winners, at this year’s Moneyfacts Awards should be rightly proud of their achievements. They have offered a range of products and services that have best supported their sector, at a time when its success and growth remains vitally important. Welcoming the opportunity to spotlight those still active within the personal finance world, the evening of 12 June will see this widely-anticipated event provide a welcome boost to those who shone through in their part of the market.”

The Moneyfacts Awards will take place on 12 June 2018 in The Pavilion at the Tower of London.
