Just because you're self-employed, a contractor or freelancer, it doesn't mean obtaining a mortgage is harder than someone with a set salary. With the right amount of preparation and planning, the process can be easier than you think.
Newbury Building Society is delighted to announce that it will be a new sponsor for Eversley & California Football Club’s U18 Royals team.
The Hampshire based side, which was formed in 2012 following the amalgamation of two closely linked clubs Eversley FC (seniors) and California FC (juniors), kicked off the new season at the beginning of September and proudly wore the Society’s logo on their official kit.
Andy Ransom, Team Manager of the U18 Royals team said: “We’re thrilled that Newbury Building Society has joined us for the new season. Eversley and California Football Club is a long-established community football club which welcomes male and female players of all ages and abilities. With this in mind, it’s great that such a well-respected institution with strong ties to the local community has recognised our talented players and agreed to support the squad moving forward. This new relationship is a natural fit, and we look forward to seeing it blossom over the coming months.”
Emma Simms, Marketing and Communications Manager at Newbury Building Society said: “It’s important that the Society continues to whole-heartedly support local community and its sporting teams. Eversley and California FC is one such group who put the players at the heart of the game. It is evident that Andy is naturally supportive and encouraging towards the team, and we’re proud that the players will be wearing our logo on their shirts. We’ll be supporting the boys on and off the pitch, and we look forward to seeing how the rest of the season unfolds.”
Eversley and California FC is based on the Hampshire / Berkshire border, and serves not only the local community in Eversley, but also the surrounding areas such as Yateley, Sandhurst Finchampstead, Crowthorne, Wokingham and other adjacent villages.
