myaccounts FAQ - Changing my details

How do I change my address?

To change your address, please contact us through the secure messaging facility on your online account/profile to inform us of your new address. We will need you to provide us with supporting evidence such as a recent utility bill or bank statement (dated within the last 3 months). If you are providing copies of the documents, they must be good quality.

How do I change my name?

To change your name, please write to us with supporting evidence such as a marriage or deed poll certificate. If you are providing copies of the documents, they ust be good quality. Please send your request to our Head Office (myaccounts team, 17 Bartholomew Street, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 5LY).

How do I change my password?

To change your password, log into your myaccounts profile and visit the ‘My Profile’ page where you will be asked to provide characters from your memorable information. Remember to click 'save' once you have changed the details.

To change your memorable information, log into your myaccounts profile and visit the ‘My Profile’ page where you will be asked to provide your password. Remember to click 'save' once you have changed the details.

How do I change my nominated account?

To change your nominated account, log into your myaccounts profile and select 'view/Send messages', select the account this applies to and send your new details using the 'Register/change my nominated account' option. Please provide us with your account name, sort code and account number of your new nominated account. In most instances we will be able to electronically verify your account, however if we cannot we will ask you to provide us with a recent bank statement (no more than 3 months old).

We will confirm when we have updated your nominated account details using the secure messaging facility.

How do I change my interest payment options?

To change the payment option for interest earned by your account, please send instructions using the secure messaging facility on your profile's homepage. We will then ensure they are changed and will confirm to you using secure message that we have done this for you. Please be aware that certain types of interest payment are not available for some account types. These will be detailed in the terms and conditions of the account.
