Following the launch of October’s #YourNBS online competition, 888 entrants applied to win a Sunday night spa break and dinner for two at The Oxfordshire Hotel & Spa on us.
Situated in scenic Oxfordshire, in the heart of the Chilterns, the competition offered a full relaxation experience at The Tempus Spa with three tranquil treatment rooms, a 15m indoor swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and steam room, and state-of-the-art gym.
The lucky winner would also be treated to a 30 minute treatment followed by a three-course dinner at the hotel’s Sakura restaurant before finishing the evening in style with a good night's sleep in a luxurious room. We even threw in a full English breakfast for good measure!
Not a bad way to spend a Sunday night before the hectic festive season kicks in.
Entry to the competition was simple: answer one qualifying question which related to the Society. Those who correctly identified Barry Bear as the Society’s loveable furry mascot were automatically entered into the prize draw.
The winner was one of our savers, Roseanne Davies.
On visiting her local branch in Andover to collect her prize, Mrs Davies said: “I am delighted to have won such a lovely prize, particularly as I only opened my account very recently!”
