When you join Newbury Building Society as an employee you are automatically enrolled as a basic member of the staff association. You have the choice to become a social member at any time to qualify for enhanced benefits.
The role of the Staff Association
- Acting as a voice for employees, working together with the Society's senior management to promote staff welfare.
- Planning and organising discounted social events, monthly prize giveaways and lottery draw for members.
Events and social interaction organised by the Staff Association for employees aim to help the Society achieve and promote a positive working environment and build strong working relationships. The events provide staff with opportunities to engage with colleagues across the entire Society, outside of the working environment.
All staff are welcome to get involved and ideas for social events are encouraged by the committee.
The committee organise a family summer event and a staff and partner christmas party, to celebrate the hard work undertaken throughout the year.
